Children

Play therapy offers a chance for children (aged 3 up to 11+) to resolve their emotional difficulties through the natural medium of play. Brook Creative Therapy uses a fully equipped play therapy room in Rugby, Warwickshire, or mobile play therapy equipment. The child has permission to create whatever they want to resolve their emotional difficulties.

Brook Creative Therapy works to professional codes of ethics using a trained and qualified therapist. Usually two people are present in the therapy for maximum safety. The therapist takes the lead and interacts with the child while the other observes and facilitates. All adults involved in play therapy have up-to-date enhanced CRB checks.

Adults

Adults, too, can benefit from dealing with emotional issues (such as abuse or attachment issues) through play therapy techniques rather than having to relive the experiences through talking about them.
